We have three seasons in the Caribbean. The "high season" generally corresponds to the winter months in the United States and Europe. The "mid season" generally corresponds to the summer months in the US and Europe. The "low season" corresponds to the fall in the US. The weather in the Dominican Republic is very much the same all year round, beautiful! Your rental rate also covers the services of the housekeeper, the caretaker, and the sereno (night watchman), and all utilities and linens. It does not cover food, drinks, or tours.   High Season at Villa Simply Paradise runs November 15 through April 30 The base rate is $2835 per week for up to 8 guests. Each additional guest over 8 is $35 per person per night.          There is a one week minimum rental for Christmas, New Year, and Easter.   Low Season at Villa Simply Paradise runs May 1 through November 14 The base rate is $1260 per week for up to 4 guests. Each additional guest over 4 is $35 per person per night.    Notes: Children and infants count as guests             Dominican VAT tax of 16% must be added to the above rates   We require a 50% deposit to hold reservations. This deposit can be paid by personal check or by MasterCard or VISA. Cancellations: In the event of cancellation, we will return 50% of the deposit or rental fee that has been paid. We encourage guests to investigate trip cancellation and trip interruption insurance. This is easily arranged through agencies like www.InsureMyTrip.com .
